Why is my detection score still high after humanizing?

Very short texts, highly technical content, or text with unusual structure may retain some detectable patterns. Try processing the text again — each run produces different variants. You can also experiment with different tone settings.

Is my text stored on your servers?

Text submitted for humanization is stored in our database for up to 90 days to provide your request history feature. After 90 days, it is automatically deleted. You can request immediate deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

Who can see my submitted text?

Your text is sent to Anthropic (Claude API) for humanization and to GPTZero for AI detection scoring. These are necessary for the service to function. ClearPen staff do not read your text unless required for troubleshooting a specific support request you initiate.

How is my payment information protected?

All payment processing is handled by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. We never store credit card numbers, CVVs, or full payment details on our servers. We only store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status.

Can I delete my account and all associated data?

Yes. Contact support@clearpen.ai to request full account deletion. We will remove your account data, request history, and usage metrics. Note that some anonymized, aggregated data may be retained for analytics purposes.
