    The mobile overhaul

    The dashboard on your phone is no longer a shrunken desktop. Most of you write on your phone, so we rebuilt the mobile editor for one thumb and a small screen.

    Never worse than your draft

    A guarantee we can state plainly: if a rewrite would not improve your text's score, ClearPen returns your original untouched. Your result badge never reads worse than your input.

    Block-based rewriting

    Long documents used to degrade toward the end. The engine now splits your text into flow-preserving blocks and rewrites each one with full attention — quality holds from the first paragraph to the last.

    • NewBlock-based processing: documents are split into ~250-word, sentence-safe blocks and rejoined losslessly.
    • NewRetry orchestrator — hard passages automatically get escalating parallel attempts instead of a shrug.

    One model guessing once was never going to be enough. Engine 2.0 drafts with multiple rewrite models — including our own self-hosted ones — scores every candidate, and keeps only the most natural result.
