The promise
Most “limited” deals quietly relaunch. This one can’t. The cap is written into the checkout, enforced on the server, and honoured forever. Closing it and never reopening it is the whole point.
The purchase API refuses the 101st seat. Not a banner that gets edited later; a limit in code.
The seat number on this page is a live count of completed purchases from our database. No padding, no fake activity.
Sold out or window closed on 31 December 2026, whichever comes first. After that, Founding Member is history.
The math
Pro is $16 a month, or $120 a year. A Founding Member seat is $99, once. If you’ll be writing for more than a year, this is the cheapest way to own Pro, and every year after that costs nothing.
Cost of Pro over time
Prices from the current plan table; one payment vs. recurring.
What you get
Same limits, same controls, same detector readout as a Pro subscriber. The only difference is you’ll never see another invoice.
